3M™ Protecta® Self-retracting lifeline (fall block) is both hard-wearing and durable.

They provide an economical fall protection solution that does not compromise on performance or safety. 3M™ Protecta® Self Retracting Lifeline is available in several safety line lengths and materials with a design that helps ensure longevity. Designed with the employee in mind, with a housing design with woven or steel cable safety line and a built-in swivel anchor point for extra comfort and ease of use. Available in drop block, personal drop block, leading drop block and pickup drop block configurations.

3M™ Protecta® Self-Retracting Lifeline (fall block) extends and retracts with the user as they perform their work task. In the event of a fall, a braking system is activated which detects the speed and stops the fall, thereby reducing the forces to which the user is exposed to a safe level. In addition, the safety line is always kept taut, helping to reduce the number of falls due to dragging, snagging, tripping and falling. Whether the application requires single or double line configurations, mounting to an anchor point above or attaching directly to the harness, there are several models to choose from to suit a wide range of applications.

3M™ Protecta® Self-retracting lifeline is equipped with an integrated carrying handle, so it is easy to transport the fall block to various workplaces.
