Confidence in EfB is better than ever

In Stennevad, we have always had a love for local football and we support EfB in good times and bad. We have therefore drawn the company for the 11th season under the blue and white logo and see it as the start of a completely new era for West Jutland football.
We quickly and with a bit of sadness accepted this spring that EfB would not be able to return to the Super League in the 20/21 season. Few ideas off the field had led to a stuck squad and action-paralyzed playing style on the field. The results were lacking because the game was mediocre and the goals too few. The heart was missing. Corona didn't exactly help either. The spectators were completely gone and with them the energy on the pitch completely disappeared.

For far too long, everyday life in EfB seems to have been marked by arbitrary decisions based on spontaneous ideas from various coaches and sports managers. It all helps to dilute club values, fan culture and self-understanding among everyone with an interest in and for the blue and white stripes.
But we in Esbjerg still dream of championships and participation in European tournaments and from the highest level is a transformation by taking root. New owners with a clear strategy stand ready to kick life back to the West Coast. A huge cleansing has been done. Players and staff disappeared and brand new ones arrived. Even more will come. The plan is ready.
Promotion to the Superligaen and establishment at the top of Danish club football. Who does not have that goal? That may be true enough. But the strategy has been tested successfully in other European clubs. So why not also in a Danish.
We believe in the EfB project in Stennevad and therefore we continue to support sponsorship for a traditional club, which as a resident of Denmark's fifth largest city has an audience that deserves a team with a permanent presence at the top of Danish professional football. We look forward with excitement to many goals and good entertainment. Welcome to many more triumphs.
