With a FIT TEST, you ensure optimal protection when using respiratory equipment.

At Stennevad, you can be tested by a qualified specialist using the approved Quantifit2 testing machine.

In collaboration with leading respirator suppliers, we offer testing of models from RSG, Sundström, STS, and CleanAir – with the option to include additional brands – at our headquarters in Esbjerg. For groups of more than 10 people, FIT TEST sessions can also be booked outside Esbjerg.

What is a FIT TEST?

The test shows how a person achieves the optimal fit with a specific respirator through a controlled and standardised procedure that provides a pass/fail result. It must be carried out by a suitably trained and competent person. The test should be repeated at regular intervals and whenever the wearer’s facial features change, for example after dental surgery.

How does a FIT TEST work?

Respiratory protective equipment (RPE) protects the wearer from hazardous substances. Tight-fitting respirators create a secure seal against the face to ensure protection. A FIT TEST is performed to verify that the mask fits the wearer correctly, ensuring the required level of protection.
