Respiratory protection when maximum safety is required
A filtering respirator can be either a half mask or a full-face mask with a replaceable filter against particles and/or gases. If the filtering respirator is equipped with a battery-powered motor (powered air unit) that pushes air through a filter, a hood can also be used as the facepiece. Filtering respirators are also available as filtering face masks.
For decades, Stennevad has been a specialist in helping you find the optimal solution when you need a full-face respirator or similar equipment for your personal workplace safety. We are advisors and experts who, through thorough knowledge and dedicated research, collaborate with our customers to identify not only the right product, but also the right product understanding.
There is nothing worse – or more dangerous – than not having enough knowledge AND the wrong product, when it comes to protecting your breathing at work. That’s why we provide solutions tailored to both the user and the working environment. Your full-face mask is your personal property, which means that, as a rule, it should only be used and maintained by you. However, it can be shared with others if it is cleaned properly.
Know the rules for full-face masks at the workplace
Remember that in Denmark a full-face mask with filters may only be used for up to 3 hours per day. If you need more time, powered air or supplied air must be used. Those are the rules – the 3-hour rule.
We can provide you with the necessary overview of the requirements at your workplace and the solutions that match the tasks you are dealing with. Your personal safety may involve more than just the full-face mask. Safety gloves and a disposable suits could also be essential protective equipment.
