Alu Glove: Gloves for working in environments with up to approximately 350 degrees of contact heat

The performance levels relate to the layer structure. The performance levels do not indicate the performance of the outer layer.

• Can be used in dry conditions and can be easily removed in an emergency.
• Additional PPE for the body and head may be required.
• Environmental and workplace conditions must be taken into account by means of a hazard assessment.

Protective effect/use properties:

• Protection against high mechanical stress, good mobility and sensitivity.
• Protection against work in the immediate vicinity of a glowing metal radiation source with simultaneous contact heat.
• Protection against the effects of contact heat up to approx. 350 °C with a contact time of < 15 sec.
• Despite the insulation, the glove is easy to handle.

Limitations of use/safety instructions:

• Dirt, visible, severe changes in individual product locations, damaged seams and the like can impair performance.
• No damage may be repaired by the user.
• Despite testing, the risk of burns cannot be ruled out when exposed to liquid metal. In the event of exposure,
• leave the workplace immediately and remove gloves.
• Close any closing elements.
• Do not wear gloves on machines with rotating parts. Not suitable for welding work.

Storage/lifetime:

• In dry rooms, protect against moisture, dirt and damage.
• Do not expose to unnecessary UV radiation.
• The life time depends on the type and extent of use as well as the working, environmental and storage conditions and cannot therefore be predicted.
• It may also be necessary to end use prematurely for hygienic reasons.
• Defective gloves must be discarded and replaced!
