Description

3M 5 Series Visors are a range of polycarbonate, acetate and mesh visors, certified to EN 166:2001 and EN 1731:2006, and designed to protect against contact with high velocity particles and other hazards associated with industry or forestry. These visors are designed to fit 3M SecureFit X5000 and X5500 as well as G3000 Safety Helmets and G500 Head Protectors.

All 3M 5 Series Clear Visors are certified to EN 166 and designed to provide protection against a wide range of industrial hazards including high velocity particles, UV and infrared radiation, indirect welding light, liquid splashes and molten metal splashes. All 3M 5 Series Mesh Visors are certified to EN 1731:2006 and are designed to provide eye and face protection from flying wood chips and twigs, while providing fog-free vision and increased ventilation for challenging outdoor tasks. Our range of clear, green and gold-plated visors are available in curved or flat designs. They are in optical class 1 and provide protection against high-velocity particles with medium energy (120 m/s), marked class B, except 5H, which provides protection against low-energy particles (45 m/s) marked class F, and 5A-CPF, which provides protection against low-energy particles (45 m/s) and which additionally meets the requirements ts the requirement after preconditioning at 55 °C and -5 °C, marked class FT. 5F-11, 5A-CPF and 5E-11 visors are equipped with anti-fog coating.

3M visors are attached to 3M safety helmets using 3M visor holders and/or directly to 3M headgear. The click function makes it easy and quick to attach the visors to the visor holders. All 5-series visors are compatible with 3M V9 helmet-integrated safety glasses and a wide range of 3M PELTOR earmuffs and communication headsets.
