The 3M PELTOR X4 Earmuffs are 3M's slim, lightweight hearing protectors with innovative ear cup inserts and foam spacers that improve attenuation and protect against low frequencies. Available with headband and helmet mount. The headband model has an electrically insulated double headband that minimizes heat build-up on the head. Depending on the user's preference or application needs, the helmet mount versions are available as either dielectrically insulated or with robust metal arms.

The 3M PELTOR X4 Earmuffs have a striking bright green color code, making it easy to select the correct level of protection from the X-Series. Thanks to a combination of 3M's hearing protection knowledge and advanced technology, our earmuffs have been equipped with a specially designed spacer and sealing ring technology that improves noise attenuation without excessive bulk and weight. This means that the X4 is lightweight and even more streamlined compared to other high-attenuation hearing protectors, while reducing noise by up to 32 dB. The headband model has an electrically insulated, double headband design that helps reduce heat build-up on the top of the head, and the stainless steel wire coated with plastic makes the headband the most robust solution from 3M. The hearing protector is both robust and comfortable, as the flat and wide headband has a soft plastic coating that provides stable pressure on the head. The product has no visible metal, meaning it is 'dielectric' and provides electrical resistance in places where there is a risk of sparks or charge. Carefully molded sliders ensure easy adjustment of the hearing protector when worn on the head. Wide soft foam sealing rings ensure that workers do not compromise on comfort, and the thin cups provide improved compatibility with other safety equipment. Offering a product to match each user's job or preference, the helmet-mounted version is available as the P5 with the same dielectric performance as the headband model.
