Locobase Protect is a fat cream that is specially designed for dry skin on the whole body. For dry or very dry skin, you should use a cream with at least 60% fat. Locobase Protect fat cream is a water-based cream with 70% fat, which increases the skin's elasticity and moisture level. The cream creates a protective skin barrier, while at the same time allowing the skin to breathe and preventing the naturally occurring moisture in the skin from evaporating. Due to these properties, Locobase Protect Fat Cream is also recommended for very sensitive skin and as complementary skin care for atopic eczema. People with sensitive skin are typically genetically predisposed to have a weakened skin barrier.
