3M PELTOR WS ALERT X+ is an electronic Bluetooth hearing protector designed for communication in noisy working environments. The headset combines hearing protection with hands-free calling, audio streaming and level-dependent ambient listening, allowing users to remain aware of surrounding sounds.

The noise-cancelling boom microphone supports clear speech during calls, while Bluetooth MultiPoint technology allows connection to up to two external Bluetooth devices simultaneously.

Bluetooth MultiPoint and wireless communication

Bluetooth MultiPoint allows the headset to connect to one or two Bluetooth devices for hands-free calls and audio streaming. Qualcomm® aptX™ HD Adaptive technology supports high-resolution wireless audio.

Large control buttons and voice-guided menus allow users to adjust settings without removing the hearing protector. Voice confirmation provides feedback on adjustments and alerts users to conditions such as low battery levels.

Level-dependent ambient listening and Push-to-Listen

The level-dependent ambient listening function allows users to hear surrounding sounds while maintaining protection against hazardous noise.

The Push-to-Listen function temporarily pauses audio streaming and activates ambient listening with a double tap.

App control and rechargeable battery

The 3M Connected Equipment app allows users to configure the headset, customise audio settings, monitor battery status and install firmware updates wirelessly through Over-the-Air (OTA) technology.

The built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 70 hours of battery life and charges via USB-C. The headset automatically switches off after four hours of inactivity to conserve battery power.
